Traditional Ukrainian clothing and the majority of dress of many Slavonic peoples have much in common. Ukrainian dress conist of shirt and linen pants. People wore the shirt on the body and it was used usually as outerwear.

Trousers holoshi men fixed with lace on the body – this element of the Ukrainian clothing was worn with buckle. Ukrainian pants, especially the Cossacks wide trousers, had a special feature – very large width. The pants were made of canvas or cloth, people embroided it with yellow or green threads.
